We are now looking for full-time Academic Interns, who will join an organisation, where we believe in “freedom with responsibility” – you get to be responsible for your own parts from day one, with great support from leaders, your enthusiastic “internship host” and your fellow team members.

Work on our People Agenda

We have an ambitious and exciting People agenda, and there are many opportunities for you to contribute. It could be to:

  • Operationalize and implement our approach to Strategic Workforce Planning that ensures our mix of talent is aligned with our business goals.
  • Prepare the People Tribe’s strategy execution plan and annual business review to ensure we prioritise and deliver the right projects at the right time.
  • Run a talent management process for one of our business units, where we review critical positions and their successors as well as key employees, to ensure a fit-for-future workforce with skills in place for short and long-term sustainable performance.
  • Create a holistic approach towards parental leave in Danske Bank.

Another task could be to align our job grades and titles to ensure fairness and relevance across our markets and business units. You could also work with setting up sustainable reporting and scope transparency in pay approach.

As a result, you might get to experience developing new processes or projects Group-wide for our teams in Total Rewards, People & Culture or our Diversity & Inclusion Office, see how we support the business in HR teams supporting business units, or how we develop system and work agile in our People Tribe.

We will match the projects to the appropriate students based on their motivation, skills and competencies as part of the hiring process. We’re looking for candidates able to work individually and in teams; with various skills depending on the selected topic such as analytical mind-set, ability to handle & synthesise qualitative and quantitative data, facilitate workshops or interviews…

We expect you to be a proactive team-oriented person with a balanced mix of curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to constructively challenge the status quo. We are looking for you on your Master studies - studying HR, communication, or another relevant field of study.
