Responsible for
Under the direction of and reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) is responsible to carry out, direct and manage the overall Internal Audit (IA) activities at the corporate level of Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP) in line with the Standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the Internal Audit (IA) methodology and Quality Assurance program, alongside the delivery of centralized IA operations support.
The role of the CAE must ensure high professional standards as outlined in the IA's charter and the Institute of Internal Auditor's (IIA) Professional Standards across ADP group. Therefore, the CAE must display a strong level of leadership, integrity, analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate data to make informed decisions.

Objectives and Role Profile
The CAE should enable the IA function to deliver consistently high-quality and efficient services across the ADP group.
As a summary, the CAE will also be responsible for the following activities:
- Develop and implement the IA methodology to be used across the corporate and clusters’ levels.
- Delivery of the IA corporate strategy, which includes adopting leading practices in IA activities.
- Delivery of internal audit assignments at ADP Corporate as well as any centralized audit assignments.
- Delivery of IA reviews for the support functions within ADP’s clusters.
- Ensure governance and compliance requirements are controlled and met.
- Lead quality assurance reviews across ADP’s clusters
Key Tasks and Performance Indicators
In terms of reporting, the CAE will be responsible for monitoring clusters IA departments' performance through, for example, compiling cluster-based audit reports and presenting key findings to the ADP Audit and Risk Committee.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
