We're on the lookout for a Business Development Director to take the reins of our new business efforts for our marketplace offering in Mexico. In this exciting role, you'll be working hand-in-hand with client services, product leads, and senior executives, steering the ship as we navigate the thrilling journey of winning and closing new business.
But that's not all! You'll also manage our outbound efforts, making sure we're reaching out to exciting opportunities that will further nourish our thriving pipeline. What you do?
We're seeking someone who can embody our values of intellect, ambition, and integrity. As a sales leader, your role is crucial in meeting our new business target.
You'll be at the helm of our local Amazon & Mercado Libre partner relationship, boasting a vast network of advertisers with a focus on medium businesses and big enterprises.
You'll be our go-to person, from leading SMB and Enterprise pitch processes to building new business presentations and commercial frameworks. This involves writing and coordinating RFP/RFI responses and improving our commercial business processes to elevate the quality of our new business responses.
Collaboration is key! You'll work closely with our Marketplace leadership team to drive the right outcomes and behaviours across the business. Improving product propositions with regional and global VPs, and SVPs, to create a competitive BL Marketplace offering will be an exciting part of your role.
Who you are?
- Extensive experience in pitching and closing new business in digital/e-commerce agencies or Digital/Tech platforms.
- The ability to ask the right questions to form a thorough understanding of clients' businesses.
- Autonomous and driven, you're able to steer teams towards the best outcomes.
- A strategic thinker who can interpret and respond to business problems with a well-argued proposal.
- An exquisite communicator, able to convey ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively.
- An empathetic team player with a genuine interest in people, events, and ideas.
- Demonstrate alignment with our company values.
- Great experience operating Amazon platform-console VC / SC. Familiarity with Mercado Libre platform-console operation is a plus!

- Have built a substantial pipeline of new business opportunities and won a high percentage of them.
- Achieve revenue goals, which is the main gauge of success for this role.
- Develop new and better processes to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with our partners at Amazon & Mercado Libre. Successfully negotiate contracts that are beneficial to both our clients and Brainlabs.
- Continually refine our product propositions to stay competitive in the marketplace.
