Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support on all HR aspects from employee's hire to retirement with HR operational excellence via automation, simplification and continuous process improvement.
- Provides support and processes HR activities such as pre-hire check/hiring in HR system, new-hire pre-on boarding, onboarding activities, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, termination of employment, etc.
- Initiates, reviews, and approves daily HR System transactions ensuring compliance with policies and procedures / Prepare HR related legal documents (i.e. employment letter, employment contracts, job change addendums, document related to Termination etc.)
- Manages employee records (including electronic files and ensures information is accurate and up-to- date) and supports audits, government surveys and reporting
- Identifies trends based on data analysis and recommends areas for process improvements
- Contributes to educating HR generalists, people managers and employees on practices and tools to encourage them to resolve issues on their own through HR Systems and platforms
- Provides coaching and guidance on HR processes.
- Provides orientation to new hires and delivers trainings for new processes, programs and platform rollouts.
- Ensures exceptional service by promptly and accurately responding to questions by HP employees via HR platform where country specific HR knowledge or solutions are required and updates knowledge database articles
- Supports projects including acquistion deals representing the HR Global Services organisation as needed
Education and Experience Required:
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically 2-4 years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong customer focus while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in managing low to moderate cases
- Solid communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences. (e.g. written and verbal)
- Solid understanding of HR programs, policies and processes
- Knowledge and experience in HR discipline
- English, Romanian languages skills at fluent level; Russian is an advantage
