Job Title: Wedding Film Editor
The wedding film editor is responsible for editing wedding videos to create a visually stunning final product that captures the essence of the wedding day. The editor should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Responsibilities:
● Edit wedding videos to create a visually stunning final product that captures the essence of the wedding day
● Collaborate with the wedding videographer to ensure that the footage is organized and ready for editing
● Select and organize footage to tell a compelling story and create a cohesive narrative
● Work with music and sound to create an emotionally impactful final product
● Collaborate with the client to ensure that their vision is being realized in the final product
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new editing techniques to continually improve the final product
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a wedding film editor or similar role
● Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro
● Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
● A passion for creating emotionally impactful videos that capture the essence of the wedding day.
