Technical Sales Representative [South Africa]


 

Our client is a non-woven needle felt, filter bag, liquid filtration filters, and cage manufacturing facility based in Limpopo area. The company manufactures needle felt which is fabricated into filter bags for dust extraction systems such as pulse jet, reverse air, and shaker type dust cleaning systems as well as liquid filtration filters such as press, drum, and belt filters to fit any of your needs and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Internal or External Sales working experience in a similar role.
  • Qualifications – Marketing & Sales or other related qualification or experience.
  • Process Engineering and Metallurgy qualifications.
  • Ability to work remotely and in teams (self-starter).
  • Confident and well-spoken on the telephone.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge & understanding of product, equipment, industry, and/or services provided to customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to prepare reports and logs.
  • Good knowledge of Process flow.
  • Ability to work within timescales and budgets.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

  • Proficient in English and/or other languages.
  • Proactive and think out of the box and team-oriented.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must be well presented and neat
  • Willing to travel abroad.
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Setting up appointments and calling on clients.
  • Obtaining new business and retaining/managing existing customers.
  • Negotiate prices and lead times.
  • Extensive client liaison and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Providing feedback to management.
  • Follow up on quotations.
  • Acts as liaison with the customers and coordinates information and service between the customer and the selling organization.
  • Coordinate with Marketing & sales coordinator about orders and supplies.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Prepare and present solution proposals and quotations according to the customer’s requirements.
  • Travels to customers locations.
  • Hand over company Brochures or catalogues to customers.
  • Filing all Sales Records.

R20 000 - R 30 000 CTC Monthly Basic Plus Commission
