This position handles Premium Membership requirements. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Rooms in coordination with the Health Club Manager, implements all membership sales and maximize business opportunities in his/her specific area of responsibility. He or she supervises the Premium Membership Sales Executives or Coordinator ensuring proper training and coaching on a regular basis.

What will I be doing?

As the Premium Membership Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

PEOPLE

  • Act as a coach and mentor to team members maintaining discipline as necessary.
  • Actively take part in training of team including involvement in personnel measures such as assessment of performance.
  • Lead and motivate the Health Club team members.

CUSTOMER

  • Interacts with guests and individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community.
  • Maintain total confidentiality, he/she cannot divulge either within or outside the hotel by any means any hotels information of any kind to anyone.
  • Provides feedback to the Health Club Manager/ Director of Rooms / Premium Membership Sales managers on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition.

QUALITY

  • Coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales project, etc.
  • Completing sales efforts outlined in the Marketing Plan.
  • Maintaining a proactive sales activity or call schedule.
  • Assist in the development of the Marketing Plan, Action Plans and Key Account Action Plan.
  • Proactivity manage a pre-determined number of key accounts and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.
  • Establish and maintain close contact with key accounts and target accounts through phone calls, tours, appointments, correspondence and entertainment.
  • Coordination of VIP Site inspection on behalf of the PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP sales Team.

PROFIT

  • Implement all sales action plan related to his/her market area as outlined in the Marketing plan.
  • Monitor competitor activities such as promotion, rate, regulation and operation.
  • Create and implement special programs to achieve greater productivity.
  • Analyze current and potential market/trends coordinate all activities to maintain and increase membership sales through added business volume and increased rate.

Other Accountabilities

  • Create and implements special programs to achieve greater productivity.
  • Assist in the development of the marketing plan.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Participate in weekly/ daily meetings.
  • Establish good working relationship within the department and with other departments of respective hotels
  • Enhance the image of the hotel in the local community

A Premium Membership Sales Manager, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Diploma or University degree in Hotel Management is desirable
  • At least 57 years management role in a similar hotel (5 star hotel)
  • Computer skills - MS Office, Mate
  • Fluent in English language skills and proficient in Korean (Additional language skills are desirable)
  • Excellent coordination and organization ability
  • Goal driven
