We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (part-time) with at least 2 years of experience in medium or large companies to assist our IT department. The candidate will play an important role in the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of our office network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the existing office network to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and optimal performance
- Develop a comprehensive plan for updating network equipment in alignment with the latest standards and industry best practices
- Troubleshoot network routing, connectivity, performance, and configuration issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Implement necessary changes to the network infrastructure based on identified issues and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with other IT team members to coordinate network-related projects and ensure seamless integration with other systems
- Adhere to established network standards, policies, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and maintain network integrity
- Assist in the documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures for reference and future troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior/Middle Network Administration position
- Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices such as Mikrotik, Cisco, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti
- Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
- Deep knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, 802.1x
- Experience with firewall and security technologies, such as intrusion detection and prevention systems
- Knowledge of ISO 27001
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
