Job Description
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
You'll be responsible for the Quality Control of finished movies, videos and clips in all possible variants, e.g.: HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, Dolby Vision, 5.1, Dolby Atmos, etc.
INGEST
Additionally handling, ingesting, syncing and transcoding of raw material in preparation for post production will be one of your tasks.
PLAYOUT
For finalized assets you will do playouts in different formats / media (e.g.: DVDs, BluRays, DCP, …) so they are ready to be shown in Cinemas and TV's all over the globe.
RECORDING
The recording of live feeds and streams for post production and archive is also in your hands.
REPAIRING
You'll take care of repairing assets to meet the Red Bull Media House technical requirements.
DISTRIBUTION
You're in charge of conforming finalized assets for distribution (e.g.: standards conversion, codec conversion, format conversion).
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technology within the TV/film industry
Strong knowledge of video and audio standards, codecs and workflows in a live and non-live environment
Very good German and English skills
Firm knowledge of Adobe CC, particularly Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
Experience with multichannel recording software, such as Softron Movie Recorder and Stryme
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and possibly to travel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player, can-do-attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, self-motivated
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,602 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
