What we’re looking for

We are seeking a talented Talent & Development Coordinator to join our People and Culture Team. The successful candidate must be able to support the People & Culture team in identifying internal and external talent in a fast-paced National Company with over 220 centres and 5,500 staff. We’re after someone who has exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and can assist in delivering professional and welcoming onboarding experiences to new and existing staff.

The role:

  • Prepare and place job advertisements across various platforms
  • Complete talent searches, pre-employment checks, visa verification, WWCC linking and validation and national police checks
  • Maintaining HR Information system
  • Constant liaison with Centre Managers to keep them up to date on vacancy status and recruitment progress
  • Monitor new hires/internal promotions to ensure successful probation is achieved
  • Assist employees and managers to complete development plans
  • Assist managers to complete talent mapping and succession planning
  • Complete employment contracts, contract variations and letters of offer
  • Provide recruitment and onboarding advice and training to Centre Managers

About you!

  • Bachelor in human resources management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training, and education (desirable)
  • Experience in a talent support/recruitment role (desirable)
  • Ability to competently use a recruitment management and HRM system
  • Ability to handle a fast paced and high volume workload
  • Experience in understanding and interpreting awards and regulatory requirements
  • A strong customer focus with effective communication and negotiation skills
  • A high level of organisational skills with the ability to adapt within a constantly changing environment.
  • A `can do’ positive outlook with a strong team focus

This a Permanent Full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week and based in our Centre Support Office in Brisbane (CBD).
