Ongoing full time opportunity (35 hours per week)

Salary ranging from $101,947 to $112,849pa. Plus remote area allowance, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.


Your role


Court Services are seeking an experienced people leader to be a member of a cohesive and dynamic management team to deliver high quality front line operations across multijurisdictional Courts operating in regional NSW.


What you’ll do


As the Registrar you will provide leadership to staff within a complex and changing environment and develop and enhance relationships with stakeholders and the community to ensure a co-ordinated and continuously improving approach to service delivery.


The successful candidate may be required to undertake quasi-judicial functions in accordance with legislation. Travel within the Hub including overnight stays may be required.


As Registrar you will also be responsible for supervising the Lightning Ridge Registrar.


A remote area allowance is applicable however there is no travel allowance.


What we’re looking for


  • Experience supervising a team, delivering training and development and implementing procedures and improved work practices.

  • Willingness and ability to travel and at times with short notice to any location within a particular hub and at times, the West South West Region.

  • Someone who is proactive and is able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and quickly adapt to changing priorities.

  • Maintaining confidentiality and acting with discretion at all times.

  • A strong communicator with effective organisational and time management skills.
