Position Purpose: The Lead Teacher will plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development in the 21st century. In addition, this experienced teacher will serve in a teacher leadership capacity for the entire school and within the teacher’s grade level and or grade level band. The teacher will learn, carry out and sustain the school’s vision and mission in a collaborative manner. The Lead Teacher will contribute intentionally to a school culture built on high expectations for and strong relationships with students, staff and the greater school community so that every student has the greatest opportunity to learn and grow
