To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking an ambitious Industrial Buyer (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible on a full-time basis for a temporary one-year contract. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills as a commercially skilled buyer to define effective strategies aligned with company policy and the economic landscape, establish contracts, and play an active and continuous role in supply chain management. As the face of the supply chain in a project's environment, you will be responsible for coordinating and meeting customer demands and expectations from a supply chain perspective, overseeing projects and production purchases across multiple departments, from RFQ (Request for Quote) to timely delivery of goods and services.

What You Will Do- Define and establish the connection between internal needs and potential products, markets, and suppliers.
- Assess the internal requirements and develop an effective strategy to address them.
- Manage the entire purchase order placement process, including negotiation, risk identification and management, and contract execution monitoring until the purchase order is received.
- Ensure that suppliers meet the company's expectations in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
- Handle any claims or disputes that may arise with suppliers.
- Take ownership of specific commodities and become the go-to person for the company.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers and subcontractors based on company needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, project execution, sourcing specialists, Key Commodity Managers, and other stakeholders to evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate procurement activities for assigned projects, including budgeting, planning, and follow-up meetings.
- Travel to supplier locations as necessary to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

- Proven experience or demonstrated skills in managing multiple tasks and requests simultaneously within a project environment.

- Good commercial acumen with an understanding of business principles.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages will be considered a plus.

- Previous purchasing experience within an industry or engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and learn new concepts.

- Ability to thrive in time-challenging project environments.
- Proficient practical knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent software is preferred.
