Job description

Position Overview: Promotes and sells company products by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of the product as well as its uses and benefits.

Job Duties:

  • Sourcing potential new customers,
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing customers,
  • Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products to walk-in customers,
  • Generating sales receipts,
  • Maintaining strong customer relations,
  • Meeting sales targets,
  • Maintains products and company reputation by complying with state regulations,
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed,
  • Design and cost of systems to suit the needs of clients,
  • Proposals drawn up to assist the client with a better understanding of the system he/she wants and also to give them alternate options to different systems,
  • Assist managers in project developments, design, cost, installation and innovations,
  • Assist other technical sales colleagues in order to complete sales and paper work,
  • Help clients’ problem solve their issues with systems and components and advise on better solutions,
  • Ensure a positive flow of income at all times.

Technical Salesman Skills and Qualifications

  • National Diploma: Electrical Engineering
  • working experience technical sales minimum 2 years

Personal Skills:

Vibrant, energetic, extroverted. Must be motivated, goal-orientated, driven and enthusiastic.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional and friendly demeanour.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to meet sales and commission targets.
Salary: Market dependent.
