- Manage safe start up and shutdown of process/unit
- Ensure routine tasks and operations checklists are completed as scheduled
- Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift change
- Participate in Environment, Safety, Health and Compliance programs
Requirements:
- Diploma with background in chemical or mechanical
- 2 years’ of relevant experience in a manufacturing/polymer plant
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good team player, with strong self-initiative
- Experience in DCS operations and controls
- Supervisory skills are advantageous
- Local boiler attendant certification (e.g. Class 1, Class 2, Steam Engineer)
- Willing to perform 12hour rotating shift work
