We are seeking a flexible and caring individual to join our dedicated nursing team at Renal Dialysis Unit at Manchester Royal Infirmary and help provide high quality care to our patients.

The Renal Unit is open 6 days a week and delivers the hemodialysis treatment to patients with kidney failure.

We care for patients with various conditions, complex needs and diverse backgrounds. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the patient environment is fully prepared for the patient to undertake hemodialysis, which requires a flexible, calm approach and the ability to follow direction when needed. You will have the chance to work with a diverse patient group, meaning that the role can be very rewarding.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.

To provide support to trained Haemodialysis staff in order to deliver a more timely and efficient service as part of the pathway for patients undertaking Haemodialysis treatment on the Renal Unit. The post holder will undertake duties that will allow more effective use of nursing time and will also contribute to the efficient running of the service
