We are more than 400 colleagues from +25 nationalities. The development department consists of 150+ people, including Developers, Product Owners, QA Engineers and UX Designers.
Know the project
The Security & Identity team is responsible for Security and Identity services in e-conomic. The team owns the Product Security area and helps enable the business in the most secure way possible through empowering teams, managing risk, and developing a healthy security culture. This includes leading and managing security initiatives and activities that increase the security posture, managing tooling such as SAST tools, security training for developers and others in the Product and Engineering organization and driving remediation of security incidents
As the Senior Security Engineer, you will be working in a cross-functional team together with an engineering manager and Lead Security Engineer as well as the counterpart in Legal.
In this role you will:
- Lead new security initiatives that improve the security posture of the organization
- Help manage the Security Champions Program and provide advice and guidance to other development teams
- Implement, maintain and manage security tooling
- Educate, evangelize and train your colleagues in good security practices
- Help drive and coordinate security incidents.
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to verbally and in writing communicate security to various audiences
- Comfortable working with various stakeholders
- Deep knowledge and interest in security, particularly application security and cloud security
- Software development experience
- Experience with implementing and automation of security tooling such as SAST, IAST, SCA
Maybe you have:
- A background as a software engineer or other technical security positions
- Experience working with application security or cloud security in SaaS products
