Junior Project Manager - Building Automation [Italy]

 

Job Description:

What will you do?

Project Manager’s tasks are to plan, execute and finalize the project management in accordance with project deadline. He will also have to coordinate the project team, manage relationships with customers and suppliers and with all stakeholders. Its tasks will also to define the individual objectives of the project in order to guarantee the quality of the work done at every stage of the project design cycle.

• Manage one or more projects making sure they are processed correctly, according to the contractual conditions
• Plan the projects tasks and define the project management plan, setting up project teams and coordinating human resources assigned.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers involved in the project, both in order to create new business opportunities and to growth a positive corporate image.
• Maintain relationships also within the organization, acting like an owner and acting as a mediator between the parties
• Collaborate with Purchasing Department to procure necessary external resources for the most relevant project task, collaborating with Purchasing Dept to define purchase contractual conditions and to maintain appropriate contacts with suppliers
• Manage any problems that may arise during the project phases.
• Conduct periodic internal or external meetings to verify project deadline and financial project situation
• Perform minutes of meetings and contract closing documentation, in order to capitalize and share results and anything else necessary to increase effectiveness and efficiency lessons learned
• Estimate times and costs required, and apply the methodologies to be used to monitor project progress
• Manages project change order to increase project profitability

• 
  Engineering background
• Able to guarantees compliance with times, costs and quality
• Has a good foundation in communications management and excellent planner
• Able to motivate the members of the project team to improve their performance
• Able to mediate, resolve conflicts and manage problems
• Knows the principles of team building
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
• Basic knowledge of CCTV system, Fire system, Access control, Intrusion system and Home automation
• Basic knowledge in reading electrical diagrams and mechanical P&I
