Our geographical reach covers Waihi Beach to Paengaroa and while our focus is on hospice-at-home, we also have an established inpatient unit, and we support a large community team. Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

The Clinical Administration team is an integral part of the organisation, ensuring high quality customer service to patients, family/whānau and providing a range of administrative support to all clinical disciplines. The team support the Director of Clinical Services, Medical Officers, Equipment, Family Support/Allied Health, Community & IPU nurses in an accurate and timely manner, allowing them to focus on what is important ‘providing best possible specialist hospice palliative care, enhancing the quality of life for those facing end of life and bereavement.’

This full time role is 40 hours per wee and responsibilities are shared with the other Clinical Administrators. These include; referrals administration, ensuring patient files are updated and accurate, organising clinical meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes, data entry, general administrative support and cover for other team members as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 2 years administration experience (experience in health sector would be an advantage)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel)
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and work cooperatively in a team setting.
  • High level of initiative and the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated
