The Safety & Security Manager ensures adherence to global policies, standards, and local legislation to maintain safety, security and information security standards within the Distribution Center.
The scope of this role includes different responsibilities and goals as :
- Compliance: Ensuring the Distribution Center is compliant with H&M Group policies, standards & local legislation and monitoring changes. Implement & follow up on Safety, Security and information security standards within DC and detect any potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks.
- Safety: Performing risk analysis & management on site, taking measures to ensure people safety, Health and Safety awareness, and set up goals and action plans.
- Physical security & site protection (e.g., personal, information or site security): Recognizing and identifying risks, being aware of present and/or potential threats, analyzing detected deficiencies, implement measures and follow.
- Security awareness: Drive and educate teams in security areas (e.g., through trainings organization), supporting people, business growth and development by ensuring that Security strategy is followed within the DC.
- Shrinkage – profit protection – loss prevention and sustainability: Ensuring coordination of annual stock take and related routines according to garment flow, follow up shrinkage results and loss prevention strategies or initiate sustainable processes and challenge the current set-up from a sustainable perspective.
To be successful in the role we believe you have:
- Deep expertise in Safety, Security and Logistics operational processes, also cross-functionally
- Experience in policies, standards and local legislation implementation and compliance
- Proactivity in identifying and solving potential risk areas with regards to health and safety as well as overall compliance
- Result oriented with a strong drive, daring to challenge and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with an ability to navigate within the organization, working cross-functional to ensure best outcome
- Strong communication & coordination skills
- Real team player, you promote the collaborative and inclusive mindset in your daily relationships

- Fluent written and spoken in French and English

Additional Information
This full-time position is based in our retail Distribution Center (DC Ghlin, Belgium), which is part of the South Europe Logistics Region and reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager.
